I am now sitting down, reviewing all adoption paperwork, making sure I am SUPER duper organized, finish anything I can outstanding, and calling my adoption agency AND home study SW first thing tomorrow morning.

I just found your blog. Read the whole thing. (It's just something I do.LOL) I thought I was reading my own thoughts.
Just fyi, I had all of my paperchasing done in 6 wks except was still waiting on my fingerprint appt w/USCIS. But my agency does cert/auth for me so I skipped that step. It CAN be done QUICKLY! Can you send in your I-600A early? We can in Ohio. Then the homestudy follows later when it's finished but in the meantime, they've already set your fingerprint appt. This is what held me up the longest so my advice is to get the I-600a mailed. Check with your agency. Good luck. Hang in there!
