I checked the SAC (Single-Adopt-China) board this morning. A gal's agency called and told her to hurry up and get her Log In Date by October because China is changing the rules and halting single adoption. I don't know if I can be LID by October...I'm hoping, but am not sure. Is this true??? Has anyone else heard anything. I'm sorta freakin' here and am planning to call my agency first thing Monday.

This rumor seems to come up frequently, and it has freaked me out before, too.
Just do the best you can to get your dossier completed. Talk to you SW and see if she can proceed with that timing in mind. Most of all, get your fingerprint appointment ASAP - you've got to get the I171-H before you can be DTC.

Yup...I've heard this one pop up before too. This time it did seem to be coming from an agency but there's nothing official.
Talk to your agency and get a move on but no need to freak just yet :0)
I'm just hoping for the best. I know there is no way for me to be DTC by then, so there is not much I can do but pray it's not true.
Start running if you actually have the opportunity to get your paperwork in by then. It will ease your mind if anything. I'm keeping all my digits crossed for us that it is not true.
