Good news...I think

I emailed the adoption contact at the immigration office this morning to check the status of my I-171H processing. Here is the response I received:

Your file is currently with the adjudicator to review. Thanks!

On October 2, her response was:

Sara~

Your file is still waiting for an adjudicator to review it. Thanks!

I'm taking that as my file is now being reviewed. Do you think that's what it means? If so, not much longer!
