Referral update
An agency announcement from my yahoo board indicates that the wait is as of today 16 1/2 months from LID to referral. If the wait stays the same (which I HIGHLY doubt as it's increased each month since I started this process), I can anticipate a referral sometime May 2008 and plan to travel a month or two after that. So, I'm thinking baby will be home sometime summer 08.

Who knows how things will change in the coming months. Hopefully it won't get much worse before it gets better.

I sure hope you are right about the Summer '08 time line...my predictions are much worse then that!
I keeping hoping each month that they go back to their 2 LID months for every referral month!
A girl can dream right!!! Lets hope it becomes reality... I'm just hoping for anything before Dec 31 08.. Thats my optimistic view!!!
Kristen I am with you. I am keeping my fingers crossed for anytime in late 2008! I have a hard time putting my hands around a 2009 date.
Who knows? I can't imagine it can get too much hideously longer before turning around. I'm thinking 22-24 months though. I hope I'm a cracked egg.
